Some of my friends have been for coffee, cake and gossiping this morning (we all met a couple of years ago through our children and meet at each others houses every Friday morning). So I made a carrot cake as they go down both very well and very quickly - all diets are strictly off on a Friday!

At the risk of sounding stupid, plus I have never ate carrot cake...
Does it actually taste of carrots?
Not really, it's more the sweetness of carrots really. The cake is more spicy than carroty - and yes I will make some carrot cake muffins or something one friday for Christian to take to work so you can try it! Maybe next week if you're in.
Spot on... I never never say no to free food :)
